Gorgeous Art Nouveau advertising store display sign for the Sanator cognac brand. This piece features a colorful, embossed woman holding grapes, done in the style of Mucha. The sign is in very good condition for its age. This item is strong and sturdy and the colors remain bright and vivid. There is a small section of damage underneath the woman's right arm, where a piece of the surface graphic has flaked away. The advertisement shows slight wear from age and storage, most particularly around the edges and corners of the piece. There is a small string at the top of the sign which allows it to be hung for display. Overall, this is a rare and beautiful piece of richly illustrated advertising from the Art Nouveau period.
