Beautiful early century Lowney's Cocoa tin with a paper label depicting a lovely woman drinking hot chocolate. This beautiful piece has a wonderful embossed tin lid offset by shiny gold metal. This listing is for the tin only. The insides are clean and clear of all original contents.
This piece is in fair condition for its age, although it still presents wonderfully. The paper label has deteriorated in several places, most notably the top portions of either side. There is foxing across the surface as well as the words 'turmeric' and 'mustard' written in cursive on one side. The tin has tarnished in many spots, but the only signs of rust are inside the can itself. This beautiful cocoa tin looks great and would be a wonderful addition to your vintage kitchen.
