Beautiful antique 1920's Valentine featuring two children pulling a cart full of roses. This popup Valentine is intricate and colorful, with three distinct layers. This piece is in fair to good condition for its age. As with the majority of paper from this time period, the edges and corners are delicate and there are several small areas which feature fold lines and graphic chipping. The original doily at the front of the card has deteriorated over time and only the remnants remain. There is one large, noticeable crease to the central heart image at the back of the piece, as well as some light staining to the front fold down card. The back has a small pencil written inscription.
