Some articles include: "Dixie" It's Song and Associations, Woman's Part in the Columbian Exposition, Does Railroad Combination Benefit the Public, Two Plantation Stories (Part of the Uncle Remus series) and Technological Schools for the South. The illustrations within are fantastic and beautifully rendered. This piece is an interesting side note in the history of the Jim Crow Era South and provides some context on racial and social attitudes/ mindsets of the time.

The main damage to this piece is one the spine which has weathered due to time and use. The front cover, which features gold embossing, has some small creases and light staining, while the back covers as a small triangular shaped tear at the bottom.
