Wonderful El Toro: Official Spardi Gras Program produced by San Francisco State College for May 1936. This magazine contains 27 pages ads, articles and illustrations, as well as the official program line-up. This humorous magazine was created by and for the students of the college and features a wonderful retrospective of the youth culture, sland and trends of the mid 1930's. There is also a variety of advertisements for local San Jose, California establishments.
This piece is in very good condition and seems to have been well stored over the decades. There is some light wear to the edges, including a small tear to the top left of the front cover. Inside, the pages are clean, clear and intact, with no major blemishes or issues. The spine is sturdy and the colors remain bright, vibrant and the wonderful clown on the cover really pops!
