Beautiful Choy Heong slice ginger box made in Hong Kong. This package has been wrapped in plastic to prevent further damage. We have not attempted to remove the plastic but do believe that at least some of the original contents have survived--due to the firmness and weight. As with any antique item, this one is not perfect. The external packaging looks to have faded--especially on the front--due to sun damage. The back portion of the package has browned and dirtied slightly over time and there is one noticeable age stain on the middle back. This is a truly beautiful and unique piece of ephemera. Features a bat on the front left!
