Antique Victorian trade card advertising Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound. This card is in fair to good condition with little damage and only light wear.Looks to have been pasted into a scrapbook at some point. This card is a representative of the quack medicine of the Nineteenth Century, claiming to be a cure for "the worst forms of female complaints, all Ovarian troubles, Inflammation, Ulceration, Falling and Displacements, and the consequent Spinal Weakness, and is particularly adapted to the Change of Life." It also claims to dispel tumors among many other things!
