Antique Victorian trade card advertising Nichols' Elixir, Peruvian Bark and Protoxide of Iron. This card is in very good condition with little damage and only light wear. This card is a representative of the quack medicine of the Nineteenth Century, claiming to be a cure for "Dyspepsia, Indigestion, Malarial Fevers, General Debility, Loss of Appetite, Nervous Prostration, Headache and Hypochondria." The back markets this product to "Clergymen, Counsellors, Journalists, and all persons of sedentary habits."
