Wonderful, whimsical, colorful "The Comic Cruises of Captain Cooky" children's storybook produced as a promotion for The Royal Baking Powder Co. in 1926. This 30 page book contains a the full story of Captain Cooky and an assortment of recipes containing royal baking powder. This story was illustrated by Ruth Plumly Thompson, who would go on to become the successor of "The Wizard of Oz" after L. Frank Baum's death.  

The book is in fair-good condition for its age. The cover portion of the piece has separated from the contents, but all pages are there and accounted for. The outside has general fading, some scratches, folds and slight deterioration. The inside pages are legible, clear and bright.
