Antique original Playskool spinning, sailor bell toy from the 1930's-1940's. This piece is made out of wood and metal, with rod down the center which allows the two sailors to spin down in a circle. At the bottom of the two sailor are silver bells which do not ring. The sailors are able to spin in a complete 360 while moving up and down the metal rod.
This piece is in fair to good condition for its age. It looks to have been played with quite a bit and well loved in its lifetime. The paint has chipped around the edges and both bells have tarnished over time. The toy needs a little love and clean up, but it presents well--with bright colors and the iconic Playskool logo printed on the top and bottom. It is still quite functional and can easily be played with again! Each navy sailor has an adorable little face peering out from under their little dixie cup hats!
