Beautiful antique early 1900's Red Cross Kidney Plaster "A Great Relief" advertising sign/ cardboard store display. This piece is one sided and features a fashionable Edwardian couple viewing the ocean under the moonlight. This piece was most likely viewed as naughty or slightly subversive at the time, judging by the subject matter and the double entendre "Feels Good on the Back." Although there is no further branding or product description, we were able to match this piece with others of the time. This colorful piece is in very good condition. There is a subtle fold line to the top right corner of the item, some light foxing and a small amount of deterioration to the edges and corners. Otherwise, this sign displays wonderfully! There is a small cord at the top which allows for hanging.
