Antique children's Fish-Pond game from approx. 1910's in original box with original pieces. This game contains six fish (plus three extras,) three fishing poles, a litho fish tank background--with mermaid--and some faded pieces of pink ribbon. The game looks to have all of its original pieces, and some child from the past created three additional fish and a third makeshift fishing pole, made out of a stick. Only one pole retains its original magnet, and is the one that is truly functional. The magnet is still strong enough to pick up the lightweight cardboard fish. The instructions for the game are printed on the inner lid of the box.

The outer game box is in rough condition and has split and deteriorated in many places around the edges. The front paper label has some writing on it and has been sullied quite a bit over the years. There is also a noticeable dent to the left side of the front cover. The game inside looks pretty good. The fish remain bright and undamaged, save from some subtle foxing. The faux aquarium has a split to one side which extends about half-way down. The bottom lid of the box is falling apart. Overall, this game is well designed and still playable.
