Beautiful three card set of Victorian trade cards featuring characters from the Gilbert and Sullivan comic opera The Mikado. This set contains one large advertising trade card for Gold Coin stoves and two smaller ones for Lautz Brother's soap. Two of the cards contain images of the three little maids: Yum-Yum, Pitti-Sing and Peep-Bo and the other card shows Pooh-bah. All three cards are in very good condition, although the two smaller cards have previously been removed from scrapbooks causing their backs be damaged. This is a fantastic, authentic set for G&S lovers or fans of this iconic opera.
