Incredible Lettres and Ensignes design folio for sign painters and advertising artists. Created by Marc Bordere, Laureate of The National School of Decorative Arts in Paris. This gorgeous book contains 24 full color plates, as well as a seven page introduction/ forward to the book in French.
The book is in good condition for its age and rarity. The contents of the piece are loose and can be removed. There is light foxing and a few small imperfections to the internal pages. The external folio remains study and intact, although the spine has weakened throughout time. There are also several stains and scratches on the covers and the original binding tie has deteriorated slightly.
