Beautiful 1896 edition of Margaret Warner Morley's Seed Babies illustrated children's book. This 75 page book features a black and white illustration on every page portraying the themes of the chapter. The book focuses on plants and animals which grow from seed (or egg) and their journey into adulthood. It is intended to be a whimsical, educational story for children to enjoy and learn from.
The book is in good condition with very few issues. There is some light foxing throughout, but the pages are clean, clear, and intact. The binding is sturdy and the outer covers have only faded slightly. The inside cover features a paper bookplate pasted inside with the name Mary Smith. The opposite page also has a pen written inscription dated 1919.
