Wonderful 28 page instructional Chord Book for Guitar from the year 1901--purchased through Sears, Roebuck and Company. The first part of the book focuses on basic chords, followed by chord modulations and finally several songs to practice. This book focuses on practice and charts, and, as the cover says, does not feature instructions or notes from teacher.
This piece is in fair to good condition for its age. It has obviously been well handled and used as evidenced by the condition of the external covers and spine. There is a small amount of water damage to both the front and back cover, as well as some flaking at the edges and some general deterioration. The spine is somewhat threadbare and has begun to tear at the edges. The internal pages are clean, clear and legible. The book is intact and contains all its original pages.
