Original 1904 edition of Tomfoolery by famous American illustrator John Montgomery Flagg. This fantastic book contains over a hundred pages of original limericks/ poems and a series of accompanying illustrations. Every page features an illustration either in black or red ink.
This book is in good condition for its age. The original dust jacket is no longer present, but the book and binding are sturdy and intact. There is some dirtying to the surfaces of the covers, as well as weathering/ deterioration to the exposed edges. There are also some small blemishes across the surface illustration. The inside pages are clean, clear in very good condition, aside from the occasional bit of foxing towards the front.
This is a fantastically illustrated book by one of the most prolific and well known illustrators of the twentieth century.
