Fantastic antique 1904 copy of Bon Gautier Ballads, edited by Bon Gautier and illustrated by Doyle, Leech and Crowquill. This edition is 302 pages long, with an additional 32 page at the back section serving as catalogue for publishers Blackwood and Sons. There are black and white illustrations throughout the book, including illustrated borders on each page. The inside cover page has a small sticker for Chas. E. Lauriat Co., Importers and Booksellers out of Boston. The book is split into multiple sections and features a preface by Theodore Martin.
This book is in good condition overall for its age. The binding is solid and intact and pages within are clean, clear and accounted for. This edition no longer has its original dust jacket, but the gold printing on the outer covers remains in good shape. The spine and covers have a few small blemishes, but are otherwise clean.
