Fantastic WWI era Roster of Training Company No. 1 Quartermaster Corps, which was stationed at Camp Joseph E. Johnston in Jacksonville, Florida. This 32 page booklet features a roster of names in the company, their rank, and former addresses, a history of the company, several comical poems/ songs and a questionnaire, and a collection advertisements from local businesses of the time. This piece also comes with a full color, one-sided visual guide of International Code Flags and Pennants. The book is in good condition for its age with only a small amount of deterioration to the outer covers and some light foxing within. The attached flag sheet has some wrinkles and tearing, mostly focused on the bottom left side. This is a wonderful first hand source for the training camps that were formed around the country after America's entrance into the Great War, circa 1917-1918.
